The U.S. 17 Corridor Design Guideline Manual was developed as a “prototype” manual to serve rural communities extending from Savannah to St. Augustine in standardizing streetscape and façade design. The manual covers nine counties and more than 30 cities and was distributed and promoted through the Coastal Georgia Regional Development Center (CGRDC). Recipient of 2003 National Association of Development Organizations Research Foundation (NADO) Innovation Award.
