The Downtown Redevelopment Master Plan for the City of Hinesville addressed the specific needs of the community based on Smart Growth and New Urbanism principles. This comprehensive master planning process that centered on the economic viability of the Urban Core and surrounding commercial and residential districts. An implementation program was enveloped that identified 29 individual projects and funding strategies through an innovative public involvement program.
